August Cruise – August 22, 2026

Yesterday, the Mid-Missouri Corvette Club hit the road for a fantastic cruise from Columbia to Walter’s Service Garage in Macon, and what a day it was!

The drive north took us along winding backcountry roads and through beautiful Amish country. The scenery was great, the roads were fun, and let’s just say there were plenty of “horse apples” along the way to keep everyone paying attention!

When we arrived at Walter’s Service Garage, we were absolutely blown away. They had refreshments and snacks waiting for us, and their collection of hot rods, classics, and Corvettes was impeccable. Everywhere you looked there was another incredible car, antique, sign, tool, or piece of nostalgic memorabilia. More than a few of us found ourselves reminiscing about cars, places, and memories from years gone by.

A huge THANK YOU to Walter’s Service Garage for opening their doors to our club and making us feel so welcome!

From there, we headed to The Apple Basket Cafe for lunch. The food was great, and the staff did an outstanding job taking care of our group.

After lunch, we wound our way south through the countryside toward Thomas Hill, crossing the bridge and enjoying even more great Missouri roads before making our final stop at Fadd’s Frozen Custard in Moberly. Of course, no MMCC cruise is complete without a little ice cream, or in this case, frozen custard

From there, we went our separate ways and headed home after another memorable day.

Great roads. Great cars. Great food. Great people.

Days like this are what the club is all about, fellowship, laughter, shared memories, and making new ones together.

Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make it another great MMCC adventure!

August Cruise - 8/22/26

    July Cruise – July 26, 2026

Yesterday, the club hit the road for another unforgettable Missouri cruise! Nine Corvettes carved their way through the rolling hills of the Ozarks south of the Lake of the Ozarks before stopping for a great lunch in Camdenton.

From there, we pointed the cars north and enjoyed miles of winding roads through Missouri farmland and river bottoms. Of course, no cruise is complete without ice cream, so we made the obligatory stop at the Dutch Bakery in Tipton!

With everyone fueled up, we followed Highway B back toward Boonville before eventually heading our separate ways. Nine Corvettes traveling together always make an impression, and once again, we turned plenty of heads while rolling through the beautiful Missouri countryside!

Great roads, great cars, and even better company, that’s what club cruises are all about!

      America 250 Cruise – June 27, 2026

What a fantastic day for our America 250 Courthouse Cruise!

We rolled out from the Boone County Courthouse at 8:00 AM and headed to the Cooper County Courthouse in Boonville. Heritage Days had downtown packed, so we made a quick drive-by before continuing our journey.

Our next stop was the Howard County Courthouse in Fayette, where two more Corvettes joined the cruise. From there, we made a quick pit stop in Slater before arriving at the Saline County Courthouse in Marshall. We were excited to welcome two more cars—and two members attending their very first club event!

Next, we cruised into Sedalia for lunch and a visit to the Pettis County Courthouse, where another new member joined us for their first club event. It's always great to see new faces becoming part of the Mid-Missouri Corvette Club family.

After lunch, we enjoyed some beautiful Missouri backroads on our way to Versailles and the Morgan County Courthouse, with a well-deserved ice cream stop along the way. From there, we continued to the Moniteau County Courthouse in California before wrapping up an incredible day with one final photo opportunity at the Missouri State Capitol.

From historic courthouses and scenic highways to great food, ice cream, and plenty of laughs, today was a perfect reminder that it's the people who make these drives so special. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this America 250 Cruise another memorable adventure. We look forward to seeing everyone on the next one!

9 counties... countless smiles... and another great day making memories together!

Mid-Missouri Corvette Club National Corvette Museum Trip – June 3-7, 2026

On June 3rd, twelve Corvettes and twenty-three club members set off from Columbia on our journey to Bowling Green, Kentucky, following the scenic route carefully planned by Darren and Teresa. While the first day was a long one, the winding roads rewarded us with beautiful countryside views, a great lunch stop in Cape Girardeau, and plenty of quality seat time behind the wheel. Everyone arrived safely in Bowling Green and capped off the day with dinner at Rooster's. One word of advice for future visitors—the chicken portions are huge! The evening wrapped up with cards, a few drinks, and plenty of laughter as stories were shared among friends.

June 4th was dedicated to experiencing everything the National Corvette Museum has to offer. Thanks to the outstanding planning by Bob and Vickie, the day ran flawlessly. We gathered for photos in front of the iconic NCM Spire, enjoyed a guided museum tour, had lunch at Stingray's, explored the NCM Motorsports Park, and even stopped by the Corvette Assembly Plant where we had the opportunity to photograph several new Grand Sports and visit with the plant manager. The day concluded with dinner at Montana Grille before another evening of fellowship, cards, refreshments, and storytelling back at the hotel.

June 5th began with one of the highlights of the trip, track time at the NCM Motorsports Park. Members pushed their cars, wore down a little tire rubber, and created a lot of smiles in the process. Rumor has it we may have even convinced one member that a new Z06 belongs in their future. After our track sessions, we returned our very dirty Corvettes to the museum for cleaning and preparation for the upcoming NCM Delivery Experience. Following another meal at Stingray's, we spent the evening enjoying pizza, great company, and more memorable conversations at the hotel.

June 6th started bright and early as six club members took delivery of their new Corvettes through the National Corvette Museum Delivery Experience. Watching members drive their new cars out of the museum and capture the moment with photos was truly special. Later, we returned to the NCM Motorsports Park for some spirited go-kart racing. There may have been a few spinouts and a little friendly bumping, but thankfully no white flags were issued. That evening, we enjoyed a Mexican dinner and surprised one of our own with a birthday celebration, even the birthday boy didn't see it coming.

The most meaningful moment of the trip came later that evening when we met a young lady named Katie, who has special needs and absolutely loves Corvettes. Katie and her family make an annual pilgrimage to the National Corvette Museum, and she was overjoyed to be there. After learning how much the museum meant to her, our group took up a small collection and gifted Katie a one-year NCM membership. Thanks to the generosity of our members, Katie and her family can now visit the museum as often as they would like throughout the year. It was a reminder that Corvettes may bring us together, but it's the people we meet along the way who make these trips truly special.

By June 7th, some members headed straight home while others continued their travels, but everyone departed with incredible memories. To say this trip was amazing would be an understatement. Bob and Vickie truly rolled out the red carpet and created an experience that exceeded every expectation. From the scenic drives and track time to the museum experiences and the friendships strengthened along the way, this was a trip none of us will soon forget.

A sincere thank you to everyone who helped make this adventure possible. We are already looking forward to the next one.

                    9/26 - 9/28/25 34th Annual Eureka Springs Corvette Weekend

The 34th Annual Eureka Springs Corvette Weekend was a blast! Darren and Teresa Stice were C7 show finalists and earned an honorable mention in the Economy Run, with Darren also taking 3rd place in the Quick 60 C7 Z06 group. Russell and Katie Gibson were C8 show finalists, and Russell took 1st place in the Quick 60 C8 Z06 group. However, Gary Pauley put on a clinic, taking 1st place in the Quick 60 C8 group with an incredible time of 1.87 seconds! Several of us participated in the Poker Run, and we can’t forget Bob and Vickie Mallory with their power pair of 7’s. It was a great time filled with fun, competition, and amazing fellowship. Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make it a truly memorable weekend!
